Spartans Shut Off Media Access For The Week

The Michigan State Spartans announced on Monday that the Spartan football players and assistant coaches will not be available to the media for the week of the Ohio State game.

This is not very surprising, for a few reasons.

NEXT QUESTION.

Why did they do this?

Mark Dantonio is full of anger

Coach D, in his press conference, was visibly irate. You knew that he was so angry with his teams, and there’d be some repercussions. This just happens to be one of them, however there may be others we don’t know about. He obviously wants the Spartans to be focused and ready with no distractions for the upcoming Ohio State game.

Last year’s success

Last year, prior to the Ohio State game, the players were cut off from the media the prior week and ended up victors, 10-7. Dantonio might be doing this to continue last year’s success, and that will hopefully work.
