What a great day. Pouring rain. Cold. And an embarrassing loss to the awful 2012 Iowa Hawkeyes.

What happened?

-The biggest problem with the MSU offense is the fact that every week, the weakness changes. Up until the past few weeks, wide receivers were MSU’s problem. Now, that the Spartans’ have that mess all sorted out, the offense’s problem today was Andrew Maxwell. Today, he just played awful. Not fun to see.

-Everything…. I guess. Even the defense frustrated me. The Spartan D played great up until Iowa’s last drive of regulation where MSU just folded and gave up a TD. Things were just… Bad.

Final thoughts from today:

It’s crazy to think that just a month ago we thought the Spartans’ had a serious shot at a Rose Bowl berth. Now, they’re fighting FOR A BOWL. Any bowl. Just a bowl. When I look at MSU’s schedule, there aren’t any teams I feel confident that MSU will beat.

Spartan fans, this season is a failure. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy the rest of the season. At least the losses won’t hurt as bad!
