Michigan: Congratulations. You beat a 4-4 “Little Brother” for the first time since the joke was made 5 years ago. You stormed the field after playing a crappy game, barely beating a team you don’t even say you’re rivals with. Have fun.

Now, let’s focus on MSU.

What happened?

-Ok. Don’t blame the defense for the loss. Don’t blame the offense for the loss. Don’t blame the special teams for the loss. Blame the whole team for a loss. Yes, Conroy making the field goal would’ve probably won the game for us. Yes, the offense scoring more would’ve won us the game. However, when the defense needed to make a stop at the end of the game, they didn’t, and the opportunity to win the game went away right there. Blame everyone.

-MSU’s season is pretty much a waste. Now they’re 4-4 and fighting for a bowl berth. No Big Ten championship. All in all, this game really marked the end of the hopes we went into the season with.

-Ultimately, this didn’t go as bad as we thought it would. MSU’s defense didn’t give up a touchdown, so that’s good.

-Really, don’t let anyone say “MICHIGAN IS BACK!”. MSU is having a bad year, and this is the first time they lost since 2007. Wait until next year.

    Stop acting like a whiny have not. As a State, fan if you want this game to mean
    something expect that reaction. Don’t say “you stormed the field after playing a crappy game”. Guess what? We played a crappier game and lost. Take it like a man. I am MSU to the end. Losing without giving up a TD pisses me off, but your post reeks of complaining and pitiful whining.

      I really am not looking at MSU… MSU obviously played crappier and that’s why they ultimately lost. The fact that I see/hear Michigan fans saying “WE WHOOPED STATE’S ASS” prompted me to state that they didn’t really play a good game, either.

    Hi,

    I’m a student at the University of Michigan and was at the game, in the student section, when many of my classmates decided to storm the field. The student section didn’t storm the field directly after the game. The student section stormed the field after a 30 second video played proclaiming Michigan had just won its 900th game. Spartan fans, get over yourselves. This had nothing to do with you and everything to do with Michigan’s longstanding tradition of excellence.
