Mark Dantonio’s Post Game Interview

After the Eastern Michigan Vs. Michigan State game, Mark Dantonio took the podium for the weekly post-game interview.

If you’ve seen any Dantonio Post-Game interview, you’ve probably seen him calmly answer questions. Not here.

In this interview, Dantonio was short, snarky, mean, and looked just flat out infuriated. For a good reason- MSU looked awful against Eastern Michigan.

This video basically speaks for itself.

    The entire transcript:

What do you have to do to improve the passing game?
“Well, what you’ve got to do to improve is catch the ball. I mean, throw and catch. Throw and catch. You know, there’s nothing wrong with the route. The route’s there. The ball is thrown there, you’ve got to catch the football. And I hate to lay it out there like that, but that’s just the way it is. I don’t have a whole lot of time in front of the cameras today, that’s the way it is. So why skip around? Just tell it the way it is.”Do you come away with any more clarity on the receiving corps?
    “Did you?”
    No.
“OK. Next question.”Were you surprised in the lack of emotion?
“It was surprising. Next question.”Does your offense need to play better to be effective against Ohio State next week?
“Yes. Next question.”Are the drops affecting Maxwell’s performance?
“Uh, I would say it is because the ball doesn’t advance. Next question.”Why did Will Gholston not play until the second half?
“He was not able to practice the entire … he was in and out of practice this week, so we made that decision.”Was it an injury or …?
“I don’t talk about injuries. Next question.”How big were Dion Sims and Le’Veon Bell in the second half?
“They were big. Next question. I’m just loving all these questions, because they’re great ones. Go ahead.”Tough decision to put Bell on punt return?
“Not when (Hill) dropped a punt the time before. Next question.”Slight pause.
    “Thanks, guys. Go green.”

what a dick. ive been a dantonio fan historically, but there’s no excuse but being petulant and rude. he’s a ‘coach.’ in addition to and more important than winning football games: he’s supposed to set an example and to teach men life lessons. he’s lost my respect.

    • http://banksoftheredcedar.com/ Jameson Draper

Yeah, he was pretty angry. But should ONE game lose all of your respect for him?

    • Doc

      Get AIDS, loser.

      • Believelander

Can’t tell if you’re Coach Dantonio or some sicko with a shrine built to him in your closet with his head photoshopped on Brad Pitt’s nude body.
